For this 40th edition of the Fête de la Musique, France TV chose the city of Montpellier for an exceptional evening broadcast live on France 2! Here the challenge was to transform a covered stage into a TV set. The 20 x 20m stage with its crystal dome roof and its annexes were equipped with more than 20T of light, sound and video equipment. On the ground, light totems for the lighting of the public as well as a huge control room of more than 12m high to shelter the light/sound/capture equipment.
